By installing and using AI Insights for Google Sheets™ ("the Add-on"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Add-on.
2. Description of Service
AI Insights for Google Sheets™ is a Google Sheets add-on that:
- Automatically detects sales-related columns in your spreadsheet
- Calculates sales metrics locally within Google Sheets
- Generates AI-powered business insights using Google's Gemini API
- Allows export of insights to Google Docs
The Add-on is provided as-is and is intended for business analysis purposes only.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the Add-on to:
- Analyze sales data in spreadsheets you own or have permission to edit
- Generate insights and reports for your business
- Export reports to Google Docs for internal sharing
4. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Use the Add-on to process data you do not have rights to access
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the Add-on for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the Add-on's functionality or servers
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Add-on
5. AI-Generated Content
The Add-on uses Google's Gemini API to generate insights. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated insights are suggestions, not professional financial or legal advice
- You should verify all insights before making business decisions
- We are not responsible for actions taken based on AI-generated recommendations
6. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Add-on is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Add-on, you consent to the data practices described therein.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Add-on is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Add-on will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that insights will be accurate for your specific use case.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Add-on.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Add-on at any time for violations of these terms. You may stop using the Add-on at any time by uninstalling it from Google Sheets.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Add-on after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
